[ Royal Navy ]
The Royal Navy use Airgonomics
transporters to move 34 Tonne Ballast Assemblies at
Clyde Submarine Base. Each assembly is transported within
very confined areas for maintenance purposes. These
specific transporters were built with special cradles
to prevent any damage to the assemblies. Control was
provided by the use of a console attached via an umbilical.
